The Trojanier is a student led and student run newspaper at Rigby High School. Student staffers are in grades 9-12. Our staff writes most of the articles that appear in the paper and online, occasionally, a guest writers or artists will have their work published.

As a staff and advisor, the we strive to provide complete and accurate information in each issue of The Trojanier. Sometimes, however, mistakes are made (we are students after all). When mistakes are made, corrections will be made in the next issue. Only significant errors will be publicly corrected, but all errors will be noted and continuous efforts will be made to improve the quality and accuracy of the paper.

Carson “Manly Man” Clayson is the Editor in Chief of The Trojanier. He is in his fourth year of working on the Trojanier. He writes his own stories and edits almost all of the others. He is the primary web designer of the staff. He likes writing about science and his personal relationships is roundabout ways.

Carson is obsessed with Pokémon, writing, and biology. He’s met astronauts, ran a half-marathon, and wrote words of much self-praise in this very bio.

After he graduates he will serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and then go to the University of Utah. Mrs. Cheret made me say I got into the honor’s college.

Maddie Salisbury

Maddie Salisbury is the Assistant editor of the Trojanier. This is her third year working on the Trojanier and she will become the Editor in Chief next year. She writes many of the stories and edits some of the others. She loves to write about controversial things and stories that question the norms of society.

Maddie loves to put her unique style into all her work and fashion. She usually has her hair dyed fun colors and her confidence makes up for her lack of inches.

She hopes to study either law, business, fashion, or all in college. She loves spending her free time creating art and working more than she can handle.

Amaya Webster

Amaya not sure what she’s doing, as usual.

Amaya Webster is a sophomore and it is her second year in the Trojanier. She has gone through multiple clubs and still can’t decide on what she likes to do. Even though she doesn’t know what she’s doing with life, she is still having a good time and is trying to make the most of it.

Besides journalism, currently Amaya is interested in theatre and hopes to be involved in the upcoming production. She enjoys writing about the events around school and how to’s
